The odù Ifá of Ìtàdógún today (Tuesday, 31st December, 2013) at Èjìòdí Home of Tradition is Òtùráọ̀sẹ́. It came with Ire Ajé (Wealth). And Ifá has recommended ẹbọ to acquire the Ire Ajé.

Òtùráọ̀sẹ́ – Ire Ajé

Egbe Orun, the heavenly comrades should be appeased with all edible things and appeasement of Orisa oko with a guinea fowl is also important to receive fortunes.
Ifa has promised the barren of becoming parent by sacrificing 4 rats, 4 fishes and a goat.
The barren here should appease Egungun. Here, Egungun should chase and flog her for her to become a parent.
Obatala should be appeased and the efun (white chalk) of Obatala will be used to rob the body. For someone who is borne with this odu, whenever he is embarking on doing two things or marrying two wives, only one will be successful. If he marries the two wives, he will later divorce one. This person should be advised to marry only one of the two wives or to embark on only one of the things. The items to sacrifice include 8 snails, melon, yam, shear butter, kola nuts and money. After this, the items will be used to feed Obatala.
For the poor people whose people are looking down on, the ebo to make include 4 pigeons, 4 guinea fowls, honey, gin, kola nuts and money. After the ebo, Orisa Aje should be appeased.
Also, for the poor to do away with poverty, the items to sacrifice include 4 pigeons, a big rat, his used cloth, palm oil, pap, gin, honey and money. After making the ebo, the cloth and the ebo will be taken to the forest
Care should be taken while going somewhere with many people. This is because of danger along the road. The verse tells the story of a bat, who went out with some children of other people. Those children were killed along the way and the bat did not know how to inform the parents of the death of their children. He was just hiding around
Ifa says involvement in any bad act like steeling should be refrained from. And if somebody is robbed, surely, the robber will be caught. The items of the sacrifice to make include 7 knives, 7 cocks, palm oil, rope and money
Sacrifice should be made so that another person will not harvest what one sows. One should make sacrifice with 8 pigeons and a goat. This Ifa tells us how Opele works and how Ikin receives all the items of sacrifice recommends by Opele. And Opele will not be given anything.
The husbands need to pamper their wives so that they will not suffer while the wives will be enjoying life with other men. This is because, a verse of this Ifa talks about a man. He refused to pound yam for his wife. One day, his town was captured by another town. He was enslaved with his wife. In the other town, the king there married the wife of this man. Then, this man as a slave would pound pounded yam, placed it before the king and his former wife who has become king’s wife. He would kneel down until the king and the wife finished eating for him to pack the plates.

Let us chant few verses from the odu:

1.
Ifa says involvement in any bad act like steeling should be refrained from. And if somebody is robbed, surely, the robber will be caught. The items of the sacrifice to make will include 7 knives, 7 cocks, palm oil, rope and money. On this, Ifa says:

Otura bere o n ko seesee
A difa fun Orunmila
Baba n lo re molori ole loko
A molori ole oko wa
Orunmila mu Olori ole nile yii
A molori ole oko wa.

Otura bere o n ko seesee
Cast Ifa for Orunmila
When he was going to catch a chief thief in the farm
We have caught the chief thief in our farm
Orunmila has caught the chief thief in this land
We have caught the chief thief in our farm

2.
Sacrifice should be made so that another person will not harvest what one sows. One should make sacrifice with 8 pigeons and a goat. This Ifa tells us how Opele works and how Ikin receives all the items of sacrifice recommends by Opele. And Opele will not be given anything. On this, Ifa says:

Firifiri Awo  ko jo ti ogberi
A difa fun Jakannde omo Agbonniregun
Eroopotofa
Ase aisi nile Ikin ni opele fi n gberan.

The struggle of a believer is not like that of an unbeliever
Cast Ifa for Jakannde, a child of Agbonniregun
All and sundry
So Opele can only receive an animal in the absence of Ikin

3.
Ifa has promised the barren of becoming parent by sacrificing 4 rats, 4 fishes and a goat. On this, Ifa says:

Ikoko oka abenu lapa kan
A  difa fun Odidere omo atidi  sowo  eje
Owo eje kan
Owo eje kan
Eyi ti awa se losu yii i
Ifa wa bani so o domo.

Ikoko oka abenu lapa kan
Ifa revelation to Odidere, the parrot, who bleeds from the bottom
One bleeding that occurs
This bleeding that occurs
Ifa let it turn to pregnancy

4.
On this, Ifa says:

Igbe titi nigbe adeja
Okiki roro  leyin ole
A difa fun Orisanla Oseremogbo
Ti n lo ree gbefun gbosun niyawo
Efun ade!
Efun ayo!
Efun wa wa defun ajosa

The hunter who uses dog shouts around
A huge shouting accompanies a caught thief along the street
Ifa revelation to Orisanla Oseremagbo
When going to marry both Efun, the white chalk and Osun, the cam wood
Here is the honourable Efun!
Here comes the joyous Efun!
We shall all benefit from Efun

5.
For the poor people whose people are looking down on, the ebo to make include 4 pigeons, 4 guinea fowls, honey, gin, kola nuts and money. After the ebo, Orisa Aje should be appeased. On this, Ifa says:

Bi osi ba n tani lataju
Nse lara ile eni n foju dini
A difa fun Labomo ti n torun bo waye
O ni Eegun kin ni?
O ni Orisa kin ni?
O ni Oogun kin ni?
O ni Eniyan kin ni?
Aje ni Labomo ti o bori aye
Ateegun; Atorisa; Atoogun; Ateniyan
Otito laje ju won lo
Aje ju won lo loooto

When one is experiencing hard poverty
The relatives look down on the person
Ifa revelation to Labomo when coming from heaven to the Earth
She said what is Egungun?
She said what is Orisa?
She said what is Charm?
She said what is Human?
Wealth is the one that will rule over the Earth
Either the Egungun; Or the Orisa; Even the Charm; Or Human beings
It is true that Wealth is more powerful than them
Wealth is more powerful than them indeed

6.
Care should be taken while going somewhere with many people. This is because of danger along the road. The verse tells the story of a bat, who went out with some children of other people. Those children were killed along the way and the bat did not know how to inform the parents of the death of their children. He was just hiding around. On this, Ifa says:

Ewe epinrin  bale
O ro pinrin
Epinrin bale
O ro pinrin
Ewe ogungun lo bale
O ro gbaalukokogbaalukoko
A  difa fun Adan
Ti n  lo ree komo je oro
O gbebo
Bee ni ko ru
Boro o de
Boro o pon
Adan! O wa ree komo sile folomo.

When epinrin leaf falls on the ground
It sounds pinrin
When epinrin leaf falls on the ground
It sounds pinrin
When ogungun leaf falls on the ground
It sounds gbaalukokogbaalukoko
Ifa revelation to Adan (the bat)
When going with many children to eat African edible wild mango
He was advised to make ebo
He refused to make the ebo
Even if the edible wild mango is not soft
Even if the edible wild mango is not ripe
Adan! You should return the children to their parents
