The month of June in Yorùbá land is the beginning of the new year in the Yorùbá calendar. The World Ifá Festival marks the end of the year and the beginning of another year. Saturday, 6th June, 2026 marks the end of the year while Sunday, 7th June, 2026 marks the begining of New Yoruba Year. Also, Egúngún Festival starts the same month in Ìbàdàn and other cities in Ọ̀yọ́ and Ọ̀ṣun States. Èjìòdí Home of Tradition will organize trips for the Ifá Festival and Egúngún Festivals this year.
